Maasai National Polytechnic is the successor to the Masai Technical Training Institute (MTTI). Since inception, the Polytechnic has produced numerous skilled and professional technicians whose utility in various sectors in the country is remarkable.

The Polytechnic has made tremendous progress in CBET Implementation by aligning its curriculum and assessment methods to the competency-based approach.It is a premier TVET institution in the region,offering diverse range of Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) programs structured to ensure that students gain the competencies needed for their respective fields, emphasizing hands-on experience and industry relevance.We have established several linkages and collaborations with industries for DUAL-TVET training whereby trainees gain 50% industry training and 50% college training, preparing students for the dynamic demands of the Job market.

We pride ourselves in having qualified and dedicated trainers,well equipped library and E-library, fairly equipped workshops for all the areas of training.This ensures that our students are well equipped with skills and knowledge in their areas of study that makes them stand out from the rest. Through the support of the Government of Kenya, the Polytechnic is equipped with a state-of-the-art computer lab under the Jitume Digital Hubs initiative which brings the benefits of information and communication Technology (ICT), aiming at providing the youth with access to Digital Services, Digital Skills, and opportunities to learn, enable them take advantage of technology for job creation.
